Snow Day

We woke up to snow on the ground this morning. The schools had a two hour delay, so my boys needed to go play in the snow and it is Grayson's first snow, so I had to get a picture of her playing just a little in it.

Thanksgiving weekend

I forgot to pull out my camera during Thanksgiving to take pictures. But, we had a feast as usual and plenty of great company to talk to and family and friends to be thankful for.
Beverly, myself, and the kids woke up Friday and headed to Midland for Black Friday. It was hard to get around with four kids, but we managed. The kids actually did rather well, maybe because they knew we were shopping for their gifts. I managed to sneak some of them without my kids knowing that the presents were actually for them.
Again, Saturday we woke up and did a little bit more shopping in Pecos. The boys went over to Myrt Myrt's to play, while we did somethings around the house. Thanksgiving was great and I am very thankful for the family that I have and great inlaws. I am thankful that I get along with them and love them, most families do not get along with their inlaws.

Everet and Grayson's b-day party @ church

Yes, Grayson had another party. We had one for her with the church family and combined it with Everet Dominguez, he will be one this weekend. I had fun stripping her down to her diaper again and watching her chow down on a cupcake. It was so hectic, that we forgot to open gifts and ended up taking them home to open.

Syndi and I kept it simple, cake, cupcakes, and ice cream. We did not go overboard, since we were having the party at the church, after evening services. I guess we did not want to have to clean up a big mess, just kidding. Here are some pics enjoy.
My mom made this outfit for Grayson.

Everet went straight for his cupcake. Grayson was unsure about hers, I guess she does not like to get dirty. So some of the kids helped her out.

Everet was so upset with me when I put his party hat on. He was having a rough night.

Happy Birthday, Grayson and Brody!

We celebrated Grayson and Brody's birthdays this past weekend. We went with a fiesta theme and had the celebration at the Wink park. I can't believe our babies are already one year old. Well, mine is anyway. She turned one on the 15th, Brody does not turn one until the 29th. We celebrated with hot dogs, frito pie, nachos, a pinata, and all of our friends and family. Kelsey and Clara were able to make it down for the celebration, it was great to have them make it in and share in on our fun.
First we sat down to eat and the kids played at the park, having a grand old time. Linsey and I decided to sat Brody and Grayson under a tree and take pictures of them in their sombreros, which was not a fun task at all, Grayson wanted to keep walking off during our little photo session. We had individual cakes for the two, so they could dive in and get as nasty as they wanted. Brody dove right in, Grayson was not to sure what to think of her cake, she got a little icing on her finger and tasted it and then plunged right in. I really hope this year goes by slow, I am not ready for her to turn two.

Long past due...according to Beverly

It was a busy summer, from taking Bryce back and forth to his golf lessons, runnng Cody to Houston to find out more on his headaches, Grayson beginning to walk and get into even more around the house, and as usual Wyatt being his laid back little self and along for the ride. I am so glad school has started, even though we are still busy.
I have placed Bryce in Cub Scouts, we are only going to try it out for right now and see if he enjoys it, I think he will. Wyatt has an appointment on the 18th to see if he qualifies for pre-K, and Grayson will just stay home with her mommy, I am trying to slowly stop breastfeeding her, very challenging. Cody is working very hard, as usual, he still struggles with his headaches, and still has one kidney stone that he needs to pass. He has gotten a camper for his truck and plans on taking the boys camping, also he has it for hunting. He will go hunting here in NM this year, he is looking forward to it. He has earned a well deserved vacation.
Linsey and I are still making jewelry. We had our first party this summer, only three people showed up, but it was a start. We had fun and it was a practice run for the both of us. I have not had time to sit down and make anymore jewelry, but need to find time. I have another party planned for this month, if the person calls me back. And, I think Dashielle might have one before she moves off.
That is all for now, will try not to take so long to write next time.

Wyatt turns 3

It is hard for me to imagine that my little boy is now three years old. Time does go by so fast, the time we brought him home, the time he learned to crawl, walk, sit up, all of the milestones you try to cherish, it all seems to be wrapped up into one big blur sometimes. Wyatt is my little sweetheart, he loves to tell me "love you much momma". He loves to have his blankey and a cup first thing in the morning, like an adult with their coffee and newspaper. Yes,it aggrevates me a majority of the time, when I am laying in bed and I hear his little voice yell out for his things in the morning, but I know when he stops asking that is when I will start looking back and really miss and cherish those days he woke me up so early in the morning.

We had Wyatt birthday at the park. At first we were not sure if we were going to have to cancel or not. Friday he woke up with a tummy ache, I just assumed it was because he needed to eat something. But, we were watching Bryce play golf and Wyatt vomitted on the grass. He had a couple more incidents, falling asleep off and on during the day. At 2:30, Saturday morning, he woke up with a fever of 104.5, so I ran a quick bath and placed him in it. I also gave him some tylenol. I monitored it constantly and the fever slowly began to go down. I just stayed up and cleaned since I had family and friends coming over after the party at the park. Couldn't let them see a messy house. Around 9:30, Wyatt finally bounced back.

Cody and I, my mom, Bev and Doug, Tim and Linsey, and Sharon and Clayton all pitched in to buy him his first electric operated Ford F150, at first he did not ride in it that much, but now I can't keep the battery charged. Everyone had a great time, the only thing I forgot to take the kids to do were to feed the ducks. It was a very productive day and I crashed around nine o'clock that evening.

Here is my birthday boy. I am so blessed, I love all of my children.

Eli is cruising with the ladies, Ginger and Jeanna are up front, he shoved his sister in the back.

Brody and Grayson are ready to cruise around in Paw Paw's corvette.

We don't need no kiss'n cousins.

Necklaces for little girls

I have also made some to fit little girls, I have used my niece's as guinea pigs. I hope they work out. My mom wanted to see them, so I am postin these pictures to show them off. I asked my sister to take a picture of the girls once they get the necklaces, so I can see how they look.

I made this one for the oldest of my niece's. I made it more camo than anything, I believe she will really like it. I will call it the Camo Turtle necklace, lame name.
