Bryce turns 7

We had a birthday party for Bryce on Dec. 6th. The party was held at a pizza/game place, like Chuckie Cheese. About 15 kids showed up for the party, ages ranged from 2 1/2 months of age to 8 years old. The party started off in the game room, while the pizza was cooking. Cody and I handed out about 5.00 a piece for each kid, so they had plenty of money to play games and keep them busy. I ran around like a mad woman, making sure all the kids were having fun and the adults had enough money in hand for their kids. I also made sure I visited with everyone as much as possible. Once the pizza was done we headed into the party room to eat, but before I knew it, it was close to time to go and I had to gather all the kids back up for cake and to open gifts. What took about a month to plan sure did finish awful fast. Bryce had a blast with all his friends and couldn't wait to get home and play with all of his gifts. We still need to sit down and write thank you cards.

1st hunting trip

We went on our first family hunting trip this past weekend. One of Cody's clients has a small cabin up around the San Angelo area, so we took advantage of his hospitality. We arrived Friday night, Cody wanted to get up bright and early Saturday morning to start hunting. We decided it would be too cold for Bryce to tag along that morning and he would have to wait until around noon. Cody, of course, was the only one hunting, we figured Bryce was not ready just yet to shoot a deer. We mainly hung out in the cabin for the weekend, no shopping trip for me. Cody shot a small deer, was a buck, but no horns yet. So, while he was cleaning it, I babysat the client's two children while he helped Cody clean the deer. The girl was only 5 days older than Bryce and the boy was 1 month younger than Grayson. Luckily, Grayson slept the whole time that I watched the kids.

This is the cabin that we were staying in. It was a tight fit and a little noisy, but we all had fun.

Grayson enjoyed her first hunting trip, slept mostly. I had to get her this little outfit to mark the occassion.

The only person I forgot to get some camoflauge for was Wyatt. He went out on Sunday with Doug and Cody, just for a brief period. It was warmer on Sunday, so you could not keep him in the cabin. Can only keep them locked up for so long.

Cody wanted to make sure I was able to shoot this 45 caliber, before we left for home.
Bryce was complaining of a stomach ache and did not want his picture taken. Around 3:30 that night he woke up puking in the loft area. I am starting to think it is the medicine that he is taking.

Thanksgiving

I have not had much time lately to sit down an post thanksgiving pictures, so sorry to all who have been waiting for them. Bryce had been sick and I had been putting together his birthday party. Thanksgiving was full of friends and family, a lot to be thankful for, and of course tons of food to fill up on. We are blessed to have so many loved ones in our life, even though some live far off and we have lost loved ones in our lives, we hold them close in our hearts and remember the times we share and have shared. God bless you all.
