Train Ride

Cody has asked me several times to post these pictures, I just never would get around to posting them.

Mid-December we went to the mall and they had a kiddie train, lucky me, I had taken my camera. The pictures are not that great, by the time I had snapped the camera the train had already passed by and I barely got the kids in the shot.

Bryce's Christmas party

Wyatt and I attended Bryce's kindergarten Christmas party today. I was excited to attend and see what type of excitement his teacher had instore for the class and parents.
The teacher had setup fun centers where the kids would decorate or play games. The centers included: pin a red nose on Rudolph, decorating cookies, making a candy necklace, making a gingerbread ornament, making a reindeer out of a candy cane, and decorating a goody bag.
I was in charge of helping the kids pin a nose on Rudolph. I blinded folded them and spinned them around, I could tell that some children were not so sure about letting me spin them around, so I had to reassure them that I would go slow so they would not toss their cookies.

The class decorated white t-shirts for their Christmas party

Me and Bryce

I have two showings, I accidentally hit stop in the middle of musical desks.

We took the kids to see paw paw play in Wickett, however, my camera did not pick up the images very well, due to the lighting. At least you can enjoy the music, 1st video is Leslie singing and then the second video is Doug singing.

Thanksgiving

The kids and I headed to Hobbs around noon on Wednesday. Cody had to stay in town, because he had let one of his lead mechanics off for the holidays. Being shorthanded, he was on call, just in case of an emergency.

We woke up Thursday morning to find snow on the ground.

By lunch time the snow came down harder. We packed up the kids and started searching the "big" city of Hobbs for somewhere to eat. We were lucky something was open, Grandy's, it may have looked like trucker food, but at least it was something. After our thanksgiving meal, if you could call it that, we took the kids to a nearby park so they could play in the snow.

FREEZING

We enjoyed our time together. We took the kids to the pool later that afternoon and went for a swim. Cody tried to teach Bryce a little bit about swimming, but Bryce did not want to cooperate. We all headed back home Friday morning. Cody came home for the weekend as well.
