Brody Allen Lara

Brody Allen Lara arrived this morning around 10:50 a.m., or maybe sooner. He weighed 4 lbs 4 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. Both baby and mama are doing well. Brody does have a breathing tube inserted into his lungs at this time, but is a very strong baby. I am posting a few pics, just until she can update her blog when she returns home. We hope to personally meet Brody within the next week or so.

1 week old

Grayson is now a week old as of yesterday. The boys are enjoying having their new sister around. Bryce was not for sure at first, when he met her in the hospital. It took about a day for him to warm up to her. Wyatt wanted to hold her as soon as he met her and has been patting her on the head ever since. Both of them ask to hold her every now and then.

We took her to church Sunday, I couldn't wait to put her first dress on her. The only thing I forgot to buy, to go with the dress, was a bow. After church it was just a little chaotic around the house. I was trying to get my house in some sort of order before my mother and grandmother arrived, but the baby had other plans for me. I was changing her and all she kept doing was pooping, I would clean up the mess and she would go again. I never had that problem with my boys, other than the occasional pee missiles. I have to say I did stress out just a little, Bryce was annoying Wyatt, Wyatt was getting into lotions and other things, Cody was in the bathroom, and my mother called for directions at that moment as well. Needless to say, I made it through the chaos.

Kelsey and Clara left on Friday evening. I have to give a very big thank you, of course, I can not stress my thanks enough. She was a tremendous help over the two weeks that she was here. I enjoyed watching Clara and Wyatt play together, Wyatt enjoyed having someone to play with everyday. I believe they enjoyed copying each other, either Clara or Wyatt would run up to one of us and say momma, and then the other would follow in their lead. They even shared toys, occasionally, that is. Thank you Kelsey and Clara for all of your help, we enjoyed your company and all of your help.

Bryce even had to grab his camera and take a couple of pictures.

Here's the Pics

This is Kelsey again. Tanya's a little sore and not able to sit at the computer comfortably, so here are just a few pictures of the little princess. She came so fast that they didn't get any pictures of her right after birth. They got home around noon yesterday and she's doing great. She's really laid back and hasn't really even cried except during diaper changes. (Aunt Kelsey has especially cold hands.) Bia and Pawpaw and Uncle Tim and Aunt Linsey came by last night for a couple of hours to meet Grayson.

Grayson is Here!

This is Aunt Kelsey here and the kids and I just got back from the hospital after meeting Miss Grayson. She was born at 1:47 this morning weighing in at 7 lbs. 7.5 oz, 20.5 inches long and has dark hair. She's precious as can be and both she and Tanya are doing well.

I'll let her tell all the details when she gets home. I took lots of pictures to post here, but, ummm, there's not an sd drive on their computer, so I can't upload them yet. Sorry 'bout that. I know; I'm worthless.
