Time Drags By!

I have not written anything or post any pictures lately. We have not been up to much lately. Here is just a brief update on all of us.
--Bryce started school on August 12th. He seems to be enjoying class and is doing very well this year, so far. He is making friends and likes his teacher. He also has been enjoying his bible class on Sunday's and Wednesday's, and is making new friends at the church we are attending.
--Wyatt is enjoying his alone time with me, for now. He keeps picking up my shirt and giving my tummy rasberries and announcing that there is a baby in there. Little does he know what is really in store for him when she arrives. I am wondering at this point in time how he will take to the new baby. Wyatt and I have had a recent play date with two members from church, who have kids his age. He has enjoyed bible class on Sunday's and Wednesday's, I have only had to attend one class with him.
--I, on the other hand, am very eager to meet Grayson. I, like Linsey, have had kankles for quite sometime. I go to the doctor tomorrow to find out if I am progressing or if I am going nowhere, since I still have 3 weeks left. I am hopeing I am progressing and he will induce within the next week. Because, I live in Hobbs and Midland is 2 hours away, I would like to have her where my doctor and pediatrician are located. My doctor said he would induce at least 10 days early. Guess we will see tomorrow.
--Cody has been working quite a bit the last week. He always has tons of paperwork to catch up on and get in the system by the end of the month. His headaches are not any better and I think we are looking at going to the headache institute in San Antonio sometime in January. I just pray someone finds something soon and they are able to treat the headaches.

Happenings with the Hathorn's

Just a quick little note about what we have been up to recently.

--The boys and I are finally living in Hobbs, NM. We have been here a month now and are still in the process of putting things away, painting and decorating the babies room, and trying to organize the boys room to make the tiny room a little more roomier.

--We have placed membership at the Jefferson COC, after visiting a few Sundays, in Hobbs and the members of the congregation are so nice and helpful. The minister of the church happens to know Jimmy and Betty Hathorn, what a small world.

--We have attended a summer company party, which the boys enjoyed so much. The party was held at the park and was catered. We chased the boys from the playground to the moon jump for about four hours before we headed over to the water park for about an hour, so they could go swimming, because that was what Bryce was really waiting on all day. The park is more for kids than really adults, and when I say water park, I don't mean like Schliterbahn, I wished. The park has a couple of slides and some water raining down into the pool. The pool does not contain water over three feet. Hobbs actually has a few of these small water parks around the area, which is nice.

--I took the boys to a free movie and met the minister's wife and her children there. It was an older movie that is maybe a couple of years old, "Evan Almighty". In order to collect can goods for the hungry, the movie theater hosted a movie and all you brought was a couple of can goods per person in order to watch the movie. Apparently the theater had shown a movie like this more than once in order to collect can goods. I really liked this idea and hope that they will continue this next year.

--The boys and I went to Kermit to visit Aunt Linsey, "Linney", "LuLu", and Uncle Tim for the night. I took a crafting project for her and I too work on. I am not very crafty when it comes to things I see on tv, in a magazine, or on the internet, and I know my creative sister'n law is, I am always asking her for advice on how to decorate something or asking for her help in working on the project. Of course, she pretty much did the project for me, he he he, I could not get my creative thinking cap on, or should I say to work.

--While still in Kermit, the next morning we attended a scrimmage volleyball game for about an hour, Linsey had volunteered to keep score. After the game, we headed to Odessa to do a little shopping and go out to eat. This will probably be the last shopping trip for me for awhile. By the time I got back to Hobbs that day my feet and legs were so red and swollen, it was so very nasty. I just laid on the couch and put my feet up for awhile and let Cody take care of the boys.

That is about it right now. Our days have been busy since moving here, which makes the time go by faster for me. Bryce will be starting school on Tuesday and I hope it will slow down just a bit after that.
