Happenings with the Hathorn's
Just a quick little note about what we have been up to recently.
--The boys and I are finally living in Hobbs, NM. We have been here a month now and are still in the process of putting things away, painting and decorating the babies room, and trying to organize the boys room to make the tiny room a little more roomier.
--We have placed membership at the Jefferson COC, after visiting a few Sundays, in Hobbs and the members of the congregation are so nice and helpful. The minister of the church happens to know Jimmy and Betty Hathorn, what a small world.
--We have attended a summer company party, which the boys enjoyed so much. The party was held at the park and was catered. We chased the boys from the playground to the moon jump for about four hours before we headed over to the water park for about an hour, so they could go swimming, because that was what Bryce was really waiting on all day. The park is more for kids than really adults, and when I say water park, I don't mean like Schliterbahn, I wished. The park has a couple of slides and some water raining down into the pool. The pool does not contain water over three feet. Hobbs actually has a few of these small water parks around the area, which is nice.
--I took the boys to a free movie and met the minister's wife and her children there. It was an older movie that is maybe a couple of years old, "Evan Almighty". In order to collect can goods for the hungry, the movie theater hosted a movie and all you brought was a couple of can goods per person in order to watch the movie. Apparently the theater had shown a movie like this more than once in order to collect can goods. I really liked this idea and hope that they will continue this next year.
--The boys and I went to Kermit to visit Aunt Linsey, "Linney", "LuLu", and Uncle Tim for the night. I took a crafting project for her and I too work on. I am not very crafty when it comes to things I see on tv, in a magazine, or on the internet, and I know my creative sister'n law is, I am always asking her for advice on how to decorate something or asking for her help in working on the project. Of course, she pretty much did the project for me, he he he, I could not get my creative thinking cap on, or should I say to work.
--While still in Kermit, the next morning we attended a scrimmage volleyball game for about an hour, Linsey had volunteered to keep score. After the game, we headed to Odessa to do a little shopping and go out to eat. This will probably be the last shopping trip for me for awhile. By the time I got back to Hobbs that day my feet and legs were so red and swollen, it was so very nasty. I just laid on the couch and put my feet up for awhile and let Cody take care of the boys.
That is about it right now. Our days have been busy since moving here, which makes the time go by faster for me. Bryce will be starting school on Tuesday and I hope it will slow down just a bit after that.

Update...Cody
Cody was discharged from the hospital on Friday. He is still suffering from headaches and now has a sinus infection. The doctor has no clue as to why Cody is suffering from these headaches. He has increased his dose on one of his medicines that is supposed to help headaches and asked to see Cody in two weeks. If the medicine has not helped in any way during the two week time period the doctor will be sending Cody to a doctor in Houston. I have my fingers crossed and am praying very hard that the increase in the medicine will work.
I miss having my husband around physically and mentally, he has enough energy to make it to work and then back home to sleep. So, when we see him during the weekend, because we still live in Pecos during the week, he is like a zomby.

Cody
Cody and I headed to Lubbock yesterday to see a doctor, he has been experiencing severe headaches for about 2 months now, which also result in migraines. So, we decided to make an appointment with a neurologist in order to diagnose the problem. We also thought that since we did not bring the kids with us, we would take a few days to celebrate our anniversary in Lubbock. I was excited about our get away and a few shopping trips to buy baby items. The doctor sort of put a halt in our plans. Needless to say, the doctor put Cody in the hospital for a few days to help stop the headaches and send him for an MRI at this time.
However, I am enjoying the hotel and still going on my small shopping trips, while Cody sleeps. The doctor was going to send him home and up his dosage, but he is in so much pain I talked to the doctor and asked for the hospitalization. I am praying that these three days in the hospital and along with the medicine they are giving him every 8 hours will stop his headaches/migraines completely. I will keep everyone posted on his condition, I just pray that his pain will stop permanently.

Headed into summer!!!!
-----------------
Tuesday the students sang for us at their Music Program. I had a hard time getting Bryce out of the house, he did not want to participate. I told him that his teacher, Ms. Parent, would be very disappointed if he did not show up to sing for me. I was able to get him out the door and to the school finally. I had recorded a couple of the songs that the kids performed, but am having trouble loading them.
-----------------
Today was the big day for Bryce, he received his certificate for completeing kindergarten and walked across the stage to meet the new 1st grade principal, even though he will not be attending 1st grade in Pecos. He was very excited this morning before he left the house, he couldn't wait to graduate from kindergarten. I even teared up three times, I kept telling myself to hold back the tears. I guess I am very emotional during my pregnancy. Really, I can't believe my first child has already started and completed kindergarten. He is growing up so fast, if I blink I might miss something.
Bryce is receiving his certificate from his principal, Mr. Garrett.

22 weeks
Linsey and I are about 1 1/2, maybe 2 months apart. So, I decided to have Tim take a picture of us together, something I did not get to do when I was pregnant at the same time as Kelsey, Dashielle, and my sister Debra. Of course, my other sister Crystal is pregnant as well and I will not get to take a picture with her either, because I live away from them. So, I thought I would capture one of Linsey and I for my photo album and blog.
